Situated in the South-West, Pau is the home of jump racing. The racing season takes place essentially during the winter period. During the season there are 30 pari-mutual meetings from December to the end of February, five of which are dedicated to flat track races. In addition, three meetings are held in April for steeple-chase races. The site extends on 50 hectares.
