Runner-up in 4 of his last 5, missing out by little in a 2850m Class E here on 22 September. Has been going close all season and deserves to have his day in the sun

3rd of 12 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class E 9 days ago. Is plainly close to his race, gets David Thomain for the occasion, and the draw will only work in their favour

5th of 11 in a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d'Olonne 3 weeks ago, but has otherwise been in fine condition. Is proven over these shorter trips and even though breaking wide, still looks a decent first-5 prospect

Got a resounding thumbs-up for running 2nd of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class E 3.5 weeks ago. Races barefoot this time but still has a lot more to find
