Race Overview

A host of good horses here but it is difficult to ignore how well JOLICOEUR (4) has been acquitting himself recently and he is due another win soon. HASHTAG SIMONI (6) finished just ahead of him last time out and should again figure prominently, but he may first have to defer to the reinvigorated ILIO MANNETOT (10) who has hardly put a foot wrong since the autumn. Consistently in the thick of things these days, OSCAR VAN HALBEEK (7) pleasantly surprised 3 weeks ago and must be taken more seriously.
