Race Overview
Rested after finishing 9th in the Japan Cup (Group I) last November, high-class IRESINE (4) showed his class and well-being with an authoritative Listed victory on his reappearance last month, albeit against lesser opposition. He should, however, have tightened up with the benefit of that outing and is preferred to Group I Prix Gany 3rd ZARIR (1), who will appreciate stretching out to this distance. FEED THE FLAME (2) returns to French soil after finishing 3rd in the Group I Coronation Cup at Epsom and cannot be underestimated either, while POINT LONSDALE (7) is bidding to emulate the feat of his full-brother Broome, who won this race for Ballydoyle in 2021. A cracking contest!
